NJ Streeten studied at Sussex University, Middlesex Polytechnic and Lincoln University and has worked as a freelance illustrator since 1996, applying a humorous cartoon style to people, maps and buildings.

Illustrations have been commissioned by publishers, businesses, charities and private clients.

RESEARCH
Currently working on a graphic novel as part of an
MRes degree. Accompanying research is into the gender balance in the graphic novel in the UK in the 21st Century.

Laydeez do Comics

A monthly graphic novel reading group/forumwill be launched in London on Monday 27 July 09 by Streeten and Sarah Lightman. The focus will be on the autobiographical, the domestic and the everyday.
